10 Productivity Apps I Use Every Day

I love three things.

Actually, I love more than three things, but for epic blog intro’s sake, let’s say three.

  1. I love getting things done
  2. I love my MacBook Pro.
  3. I love this list of apps

These are the apps that boost my productivity every day:

I love Evernote! I use it all the time. I also use dropbox on a daily basis as well.

Buffer sounds really neat to me.

Currently I use timely.is to schedule posting of my blog posts. It calculates when the best time to be is.

I haven’t tried timely.is. I will look into that. Thanks!

Like Michael said, Dropbox, is the only thing I would add to the list. I keep just about everything ministry-related in there so no matter if I have my Macbook, iPad, or phone, I can reference something.

I am back and forth between Timely and Buffer. I can’t decide on either one and why….Maybe I will use both. Does that make me a super smart twitterer or just annoying in your timeline?

I don’t think that’s annoying. Give it a try! I also use Dropbox. I should have included that, but I haven’t recently been using it as much as Evernote.

I use Feebly on my Android, it’s also available for iOS and as a Chrome extension. It syncs with Google reader and puts all my rss feeds into a beautiful UI. On my mobile it gives you gesture control to read save and delete articles. Works really well. It also has a lot of preloaded blogs from tech to design to politics

Forgot to proof read before I hit publish. The app is “feedly” and it also comes with a preloaded list of blogs it calls “essentials.” these blogs are on topics from tech to design to photography to news. I found a really great design blog “Design Milk” that has been very inspirational for me in stage design and creative elements for my services.

I LOVE feedly, but it doesn’t play well with Chrome lately. What browser are you feedly-ing on?

I have it on Chrome but rarely use it there. I am “feedly-ing” mostly on android at this point.

I’ve got it on my iphone too. But, I don’t like tiny screens. sheesh I think I’m getting old, Tyler!

I think I need to try to this feedly thing. I don’t have an opinion at this point.

Never heard of Buffer. I love hootsuite bc I can do the same for Twitter and FB. double score. 🙂

I love Ommwriter, btw. ahh love it! Especially when paired with FocusBooster!

    Great list, David!

I use Hootsuite, too, but Buffer allows me to preselect my tweet times. Then all it involves is a simple one click “add to buffer” and I’m good to go. It’s more mindless, which I like 🙂

I wanted to try “things” but did not want to pay $50, but i just starter using iProcrastinate. and it seems pretty awesome so far. You can set it up like “things”

I downloaded iProcrastinate from the app store but haven’t really messed with it. What do you mean you can set it up like “Things”? I’ve always like the UI of “Things”.
