It’s a powerful truth when you realize Christ is within you and Christ wants to extend His grace through you.

Justin has a heart for the presence of God, a unique voice, and powerful songs that will shake the complacency right out of you.
In this conversation we talk about all things Jesus Culture, being used by God, guitar pedals, comic books, musical influences, and healthy worship team culture.

Thanks David for interviewing Justin Jarvis. One thing that really stood out to me is how Justin values the sound of the music as a means of reaching people with the message. That he wants to create music that he enjoys as well. There are a lot of songs written out there with worthy messages, but they lack the sonic power to grab a person enough to embed the message and make an impact. Sound is really the vehicle to get a message through powerfully and the worship leaders who understand that and know how to create it have the greatest impact.

I loved that thought too, Casey. We need to use the power of music to create more longevity in our art. No one wants to listen to poorly recorded, sonically bland music for too long! 🙂

HELLO DAVID! always enjoy listening and learning to your posts and podcasts! we’ll never get to take it all in until that glorious day!!!? the fresh views and approaches of younger lead worshipers is so very helpful and invigorating but, could you get a cast going with an older, more experienced, perhaps even abit more traditional, minister of music that would balance and provide insight? i’ll be searching your archives for this but would appreciate another go at it! blessings!
