#68: Housefires Music, Intimate Worship, & Making Space For God In Your Gatherings [Podcast]

1011675_635451406572978_8214628952985731038_nI don’t know about you, but I’m after the real thing in worship.

It’s not enough to sing the songs, go through the motions, and feel good about how we executed our plans.

We need God – His nearness, His Word, His voice, His sovereign move.

That’s what I love about Housefires Music. I was joined by Matt Reynolds and Pat Barret for this interview.

Matt is the lead pastor of Grace Midtown and lead visionary for Housefires Music. Pat is the lead singer & songwriter.

Their church is the real deal. Their hearts are the real deal. And this music may be the most powerful thing you’ve listened to all year. No joke. It’s that good.

Thank you! This is so good. I have been involved in worship leading and worship bands since 1980 and have seen a lot of trends come and go. What you guys are doing is not a trend, but creating an example for other worship teams/leaders to be inspired to sing a “new song” in season. The church is thirsty for this fresh Living Water.

Amazing!!! I can’t get enough of this group, and everyone at our Kingdom Life School of Ministry is hooked on this group, I listened to “Joy” for 2 days straight let it play all day and night and no one even noticed or complained, it is something I believe God has had me listening to it to get that Joy down deep in my soul, Thank you so much for sharing this, my school/tribe mates are going to love it. God is doing great things in our town and churches and this is right in line with the heart of it, LOVE IT!! if they travel sure would love to worship with them 🙂
