I’m sorry iTunes. That was insensitive.
But Rdio is capturing my attention right now.
Rdio is a new social music service that centers upon unlimited internet music streaming. I have been loving it so far. In this brief video I walk you through some of the features. By the way, I didn’t realize it was pronounced (ar-dee-o) until after I shot the video. My sincere apologies.
This new blog series is all about the differences we have when it comes to worship. Head and heart. Skill and passion. Unbeliever and Christian.
We all come from many church traditions. Everywhere we’ve been affects what we believe and where we are going. What you value may be different than what I value.
The question is, do you now what you value? Why do you do the specific things you do as a worship leader? In this series we’ll face these tensions head on and discuss practical ways to lead our teams and our congregations through them.
I don’t know about you, but I want my ministry to extend far beyond my life. I want to make a mark on this world with hundreds of people by my side, rather than be standing alone with my “talents”.
There’s only so much that you and I can do alone. But when we adopt a lifestyle of discipleship, the difference can be exponential.

Most people do two things when it comes to social media: waste time and react.
OK, that was a bit harsh and over-simplified (who do I think I am?). Sure, some good, fun connections are made. And maybe that’s all you want to use social media for. But I believe there is so much potential for people to make a difference.
