The One Thing Every Worship Leader Cannot Forget

I have friends who can do a lot because they’ve worked hard to develop skills. I know others who seem to avoid anything that is difficult and therefore don’t have many skills.

Why do we avoid practice?

What Does It Really Mean To Wait On God?

waitingWaiting on God is an interesting phenomenon.

I’ve heard that phrase used my whole life. I’ve heard it used as a code word in corporate worship for “we don’t know what to do right now.”

I’ve seen it used as a prayer. And I’ve seen it used by young people who are scared to make a decision and need someone to blame for their inaction.

#25: Living A Jesus Centered Life: An Interview With Evan Wickham [Podcast]

photo-mainIt’s scary how life and ministry can be about a lot of things – but we can miss the person of Jesus.

In our busyness to do His work, we can lose sight of his very real presence in our communities.

Today I talk with Evan Wickham about this and a whole lot more. Evan is a fantastic songwriter, worship leader, and pastor in the Portland area.

Don’t miss his new record, Make Us One, and the interview here:
