How to Lead Worship Through Troubled Times

Virgos love to help others.

Have you ever been so frustrated you don’t know what to do?

Or walked through a trial for so long that you’ve almost given up hope? Dealt with a mental illness that made you question your sanity?

Walked through sickness, divorce, death of a family member, or faced bankruptcy?

#158: Seth Condrey On NorthPoint Music, Building a Worship Team, & Authenticity [Podcast]

North Point Music

We are married to our mission but we’re dating our vision.” – Andy Stanley

I’ve always admired the work of Andy Stanley and North Point’s vision to create a church where unbelievers want to come.

And today we have the honor of hearing from Seth Condrey, one of North Point’s worship leaders and part of the North Point InsideOut band. These guys are releasing some incredible music.

But even more moving is Seth’s journey to faith in Christ and how he became a worship leader. Simply incredible. We talk about his testimony, stories behind the songs off their new EP Nothing Ordinary, building a worship team from scratch, basketball, and more.

Enjoy!

The Humble Worship Leader

THE HUMBLEWORSHIPLEADER (1)

We all know we’re supposed to be humble. But are you really?

The Kingdom works in an upside down fashion. It’s not about making it to the top. It’s never been about fame and recognition.

It’s serving a higher vision. It’s shining a spotlight on the glory of Jesus. It’s reaching people with the message of the Gospel.

So worship leaders, it’s time to humble ourselves. It’s time to stop looking in the mirror and look upon God’s people with compassion. It’s time to stop trying to be impressive and instead seek to serve hearts in worship.

But what does it really mean to be a humble leader?
