This is a scary question, right?
Because often when lead, we’re not fully present. Our minds are somewhere else. And when we confront our true motives, we may not like what we see.
But I want you think about this. What is on your mind when you lead worship?
My mind races through a million things, from:
Have you ever been in a worship service where the worship leader felt disconnected? Fake?
Around the holiday season, without a doubt, worship leaders are busy.
If you took a survey of your congregation, asking them, “Why do you come to church?”, what do you think they’d say?
More often than I like to admit, I forget stuff.
